College Scholarships

Affiliated Foods Midwest Scholarships

(For AFM employees only)

If you or your children will be attending college next fall (minimum half-time) at one of our approved local colleges, you (or your dependent) may qualify for a company-sponsored scholarship available to help with the cost! Deadlines for applying for college scholarships will be approaching soon, so be sure to contact the college financial aid office to obtain the scholarship application and deadline for applying!

Qualifying colleges for the Norfolk location are:

• Northeast Community College
• Wayne State College

For Elwood employees, the qualifying colleges are:

• Missouri Western
• Highland Community College

For Kenosha employees, the designated colleges are:

• Gateway Technical College
• Univ of WI, Parkside

Affiliated Foods Midwest Retailer Scholarships

Employees of our Retail Store Members and/or their dependents may qualify for National Association Scholarships.

Retail Store Members also might qualify for State Grocery Association Scholarships if the store for which they work is a member of the Association.

Association Scholarships for AFM Employees:

AFM employees, child or spouse also may qualify for any of National Association scholarships or State Grocery Association scholarships (regardless where you go to college) as long as Affiliated Foods Midwest is a member of the organization.

Remember: Contact the financial aid offices for applications and follow their deadlines.

Many deadlines are late January to mid February so be sure to act quickly.
